The company’s history began in 1985, with the establishment of an engineering office in Schwechat. As far back as 1992, Trenkwalder began its expansion in central Europe with the creation of a technology centre in Slovakia. Further milestones followed with markets being penetrated in eastern Europe, securing market leadership for Trenkwalder in Austria, Hungary and Slovakia.
